Accident on I-40 Backs Up Traffic in Jackson

JACKSON — A wreck on Interstate 40 backed up traffic for nearly four miles, Wednesday morning. The wreck happened at about 9:15 a.m. in the eastbound lanes at milemarker 83. There are injuries in this wreck, but road officials are not sure how bad they are. Traffic will be backed up for at least the next few hours. WBBJ will have more information as soon as possible.
