Man returned to Huntingdon to Face Murder Charges

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — A man facing murder charges for a shooting in early February has been returned to Huntington. Larry Golden Jr. was extradited from New York on Wednesday and arraigned in court Thursday. Golden is charged with first degree murder and has a $750,000 bond. Golden is accused of shooting Houston Dewayne Brown, 26, on Super Bowl Sunday, Feb, 2. Brown was taken in a personal vehicle to Baptist Hospital of Huntingdon, where he later died. Golden is still in custody and his preliminary hearing is Feb. 28.
