McKENZIE, Tenn.- It was a performance that was so good,it had to be done again. Except this time, it was performed at Bethel University. Just last week, mezzo soprano Hope Thacker was performing at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Thacker was accompanied by Keith Harris on piano, Joshua Smith with percussion and Brian Thacker on the bass trombone. Thacker said she is happy to bring her performance to Bethel University. “That’s what we want to do. We want to communicate with people and touch them in some way before they go home,” said Hope Thacker, mezzo-sporano. Dozens of West Tennesseans came out to enjoy Friday night’s performance.
