GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Officials say they are investigating after a man was found shot on Napoleon Luther Road Sunday night. According to officials the victim walked up to a resident just after 7 p.m. stating he had been beaten, shot in the chest, and needed help calling 911. Officials said a helicopter was flown in to take the man to a local hospital, but couldn’t confirm his official condition. Sunday night, authorities said they were still looking for a shooter in this case. WBBJ will bring you more details on this developing story as they become available.
