Union City Woman Cited For Harboring Vicious Animal

UNION CITY, Tenn. — A woman has been cited for multiple animal violations after police say her dog attacked a 5-year-old, last Friday. On Feb. 21, a woman called police claiming that her 5-year-old grandson was bit by a neighborhood dog. The dog’s owner, Theresa Serrano, was issued citations for Harboring a vicious Animal, Violation of Leash Law and Failure to provide Vaccination. Serrano surrendered the dog “Coco” to animal control for a 10-day quarantine. She will be back in City Court on March 17.
