Man Arraigned for Shooting Outside of Barbershop

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The man accused of shooting another outside of a barbershop in East Jackson was formally charged, Wednesday morning. Dequevion Lee was arraigned on a count of attempted murder. On Dec. 10 at 3:15 p.m., officers responded to 357 Lane Ave on a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim on the ground with several gunshot wounds to his body. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his wounds. After investigators presented the victim with a six-person lineup, he identified the other shooter as Dequevion Lee. Moriarco Lee, 21, was also charged on a count of attempted first degree murder. Lee is being held on $300,000 bond and will be back in court on March 6.
