Owner of Tire Warehouse in Court for Alleged Arson

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. – The man accused of setting on fire to his own business was in court, Thursday. Joe Smith, owner of Smith Discount Tire Barn, was officially charged for his alleged involvement in the arson. The fire at Smith’s Tire Barn happened on Feb. 21 around 1 a.m. William Tomlin Jr., Diane Tomlin and Michael Allred, were also arraigned on face five counts of arson, because of the vehicles that were inside the warehouse. Smith’s Tire Barn was a total loss, as were 17 storage units belonging to TRW, which is in the adjoining parking lot.
