Suspected Henry County Drug Dealer Arraigned

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — The man accused of throwing baggies of drugs onto a playground and trying to jump from a second story balcony to evade law enforcement was arraigned, Thursday. Jonathan Taylor of Henry County was officially charged with possession of a schedule VI and controlled and unlawful drug paraphernalia. K-9 officers searched both Taylor’s apartment and the playground on Tuesday. Deputies said they were able to recover the baggies along with felony amounts of marijuana found inside of Taylor’s clothes dryer, bathroom and car. Deputies told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News their investigation started after an anonymous tip. They also said that they seized Taylor’s vehicle and more than $600 in cash. Taylor is free on $5,000 bond and he will be back in court on May 6. Records show he already had another drug charge pending against him.
