BELLS, Tenn. — According to officials, James Hines was arrested Wednesday night and charged with possession of marijuana and morphine and possession of Xanax. The Crockett County Sheriff’s Office said Hines was acting strange, as if he was about to deal drugs, so an officer went after him and he started running. They say the officer then used a taser on Hines twice before the officer was able to get him under control. In addition to his drug charges, Hines was also charged with evading arrest and evidence tampering. Hines is still in the Crockett County jail on a $35,000 bond.
