LIFELINE Bloodmobile Travels Around West Tennessee
WEST JACKSON, Tenn. – The LIFELINE Bloodmobile will be making its rounds in West Tennessee this month. Today the bloodmobile stopped in Jackson at Forest Cove Nursing and Rehab and First United Methodist Church in Paris. Dana Jones, The Admissions and Marketing Nurse at Forest Cove said, “We do the blood drive to raise awareness for the need that is in the community, just to help and get everybody out and show the community support.” LIFELINE serves the people of West Tennessee as their independent, non-profit, community blood center and is committed to providing a safe blood supply in quantity and at the time needed by the patient. According to their website, LIFELINE provides patients at West Tennessee hospitals with 27,000 units of blood and blood products each year.
