Brush Fire Gets Caught in Wind, Destroys Home

CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — An out-of-hand brush fire is blamed for a house fire in Pinson. According to firefighters, the homeowner was burning brush in a nearby field when the wind carried the flames over to the house. No one was inside and no one was hurt. The fire chief said the home is a total loss. The homeowner said the fire just got away from him. “I feel really bad people out here trying to put my house out,” said Daniel Young. “I feel really terrible not having a house to go to tonight.” Young said it took less than five minutes for the brush fire to get out of control.
