Spring Forward and Change Smoke Alarm Batteries
JACKSON, Tenn. — A reminder Friday from fire officials: when you spring forward Sunday, make sure to change the batteries in your smoke detectors. Fire officials also said you might want to think about replacing old smoke alarms all together. Don’t forget, even those that are hard-wired, should have their batteries replaced regularly and tested monthly.
