DARDEN, Tenn. — Pastor Don Franks led Corinth Baptist church in a service Sunday asking for hope and justice for Holly Bobo and her family. “The Lord [has] promised us that he wouldn’t put anything more on us that we could stand and we believe that,” Deacon BJ Vancleave said. After almost three years of prayers for Holly Bobo’s safe return, last Wednesday the TBI said it has evidence that shows the 20-year-old nursing student was kidnapped and murdered. Zach Adams has been indicted. Despite the news, church members like Angie Hale are trying instead to remember the good times. “We had first started coming to church here a few months before she was abducted,” Hale said. “And I had the privilege of getting to hear her sing one time.” Still, for some, the emotions of what’s happened are very raw. “My daughter who’s 16, was in the youth group with her as well, and it was very devastating for all of us,” Hale added. Pastor Franks preached a message of hope for Holly. “We’ve never been through this before, but we’re gonna continue to be faithful,” Vancleave said. “Everything is in God’s time…in his plan.” “I understand what it’s like to lose a sister so my heart goes out especially to Clint,” Hale said. “Because that’s a bond that nobody can replace.” Pastor Franks says different events for Holly Bobo may be held in the future. Adams will be officially charged in Decatur County Tuesday at 1 p.m.
