East Jackson Fire Damages Home

JACKSON, Tenn.- A house in east Jackson is damaged following a fire early Monday night. The Jackson Fire Department got the call just before 8 p.m. of a fire in the 30 block of Bronzewood Cove. When firefighters arrived, smoke and flames were seen coming from the house. Investigators said it appears the fire started in a bedroom and at least two people living inside were able to make it out safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
