UPDATE 12:30 p.m. — Nova Elementary is no longer on lockdown after law enforcement responded to a tip, Wednesday morning. According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, a concerned citizen called and said they thought they had saw two people walking outside of the school with what appeared to be shotguns. Deputies and investigators responded, locked down the school, but left after not seeing anything. EAST MADISON COUNTY — Nova Elementary School has been placed on lockdown at the request of law enforcement due to an incident outside the school. Parents have been informed and additional information will be provided as it is received, according to the PR person from JMCSS
