Police: Victim Robbed at Gunpoint Wednesday

NORTH JACKSON — Jackson police are investigating a Wednesday night robbery. At 10:30 p.m., police were called about a robbery. A Dollar Tree employee told officers that they were dropping off the store’s night deposit at Regions Bank, located at 6 Channing Way. The employee was reportedly approached by a masked man and robbed at gunpoint of the store’s money. The suspect was described as a black man, 6′ 2″, 150 to 160 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and a camouflage bandana covering his face. The suspect was last seen heading north on foot.
