Top Dogs Converge on West Tennessee

JACKSON, Tenn.- Some of the top dogs in the world are in the Hub City for the upcoming weekend. Hundreds of people from throughout the country are spending their days at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park. Thursday night some of their furry friends hit the stage for the Jackson, Tennessee Dog Fanciers’ Association Dog Show. There are more than 2,700 competitors. Organizers said there is a good chance you will see many different breeds in the competition. “They can expect to see some of the top dogs in the country here, we have Westminster winners here. We have national specialty winners here every breed is represented,” Gary Doerge of the Jackson, Tennessee Dog Fanciers Association said. The event continues through Sunday.
