Monday’s Bomb Threat Similar to 2012 Bomb Threat

BEDFORD COUNTY, Tenn. — Monday’s bomb threat is reminiscent of a scare in November 2012 when 24 courthouses across the state were evacuated due to bogus bomb threats. According to the Hardin County mayor, the most recent calls were made to the same number that was used in November of 2012. Two years ago, even threats were called into West Tennessee courthouses, four in middle Tennessee, and 13 in east Tennessee. Lonny Bristow of Ohio pleaded guilty to the threats made in Tennessee and four other states.
