No Arrests, Updates in Last Week’s Shooting of Teenage Boy

EAST JACKSON — According to Jackson Police, no arrests have been made in the Friday afternoon shooting of a 17-year-old. The shooting happened on March 21 around 4 p.m. The juvenile was shot twice and rushed to a local hospital. Investigators said they believe the victim tried running to get away after he was shot, before he collapsed along Preston Street. The victim has since been released from the hospital. Investigators have not released a suspect description.
