Arrest Made in 2013 Burglary, Deputies Still Search For Other Suspect

ADAMSVILLE, Tenn. — Deputies have made an arrest in a 2013 burglary that left a McNairy County man missing more than $100,000. According to the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office, Shawn Vandiver admitted that he and Kathy Aaron used tools to cut into a safe and take money, an iPad and a computer during an Oct. 26 burglary in Adamsville. The homeowner says he left for a trip on Oct. 19 and found thieves had ransacked his home on South Maple Street when returned days later. Vandiver was arrested for aggravated burglary, but deputies are still searching for Aaron. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office.
