How Many West Tennesseans Enrolled for the Affordable Care Act?
WEST JACKSON — The deadline to begin the process of filing for the Affordable Care Act without penalty was Monday, and West Tennesseans were among some of the Americans getting enrolled. West Tennessee Healthcare released their final enrollment numbers on Tuesday. According to Adrian Winfrey at West Tennessee Healthcare, 2,250 people were enrolled or assisted throughout the enrollment period. The next open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act is in October. If you feel like the rates are too high, you can file an appeal. For those who don’t meet the income requirements they can apply for TennCare.
