Meth Lab Discovered, Agents Make Arrest

JACKSON, Tenn.- Metro narcotics agents make an arrest after the discovery of an active meth lab at a house in west Jackson. According to Lieutenant Mark Byrum with Metro Narcotics, acting on a tip, investigators went to a home in the 100 block of Hatton Street, Friday evening. On arrival, investigators said they found an active meth lab along with one person inside the home. Jackson FIre Department and Haz-mat crews were also called to the scene as a precaution just before 7 p.m. The unidentified person has been arrested and the meth lab was disposed of by agents. The investigation is ongoing.
