Police Confirm Pedestrian Hit and Run

JACKSON, Tenn- Jackson Police have confirmed that a pedestrian was hit Friday night in East Jackson, referring to the incident as a hit and run. According to police, they are looking for the driver who they say left the scene of the incident that happened shortly before midnight. Officers said the man who was hit was conscious, but taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officers say the man was left in the street with non life threatening injuries to his head.
