UPDATE at 4/9 5:15 p.m.: According to JPD, the victim is a 62-year-old man. He was found by a park bench near the walking trail at North Park. The investigation has confirmed that he is a suicide victim. UPDATE at 4/9 12 p.m.: Police say they believe the body found in North Park is a suicide and investigating it as such. NORTH JACKSON — Jackson Police are investigating after a body was found on Wednesday morning in a park. The body was found in North Park around 9:30 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
