Manufacturing Facility Bringing Jobs to Madison County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A new manufacturing facility is coming to Jackson. Orchid Orthopedic will invest $976,000 and create 25 new jobs in Madison County. “Tennessee is home to more than 500 manufacturing businesses with worldwide operations, and as we continue to expand our global footprint, we welcome companies looking to take advantage of our state‘s superior logistical strength and highly skilled workforce,” Hagerty said. Orchid plans to move into an existing facility, located at 2715 Bells Highway. The Jackson operations will support its machining of complex instruments. The facility is an expansion of Orchid Alabama LLC, which is part of the Orchid family of companies worldwide. Orchid is a leader of medical device outsourcing services with 13 manufacturing facilities worldwide and customers in more than 20 countries. The company offers a broad array of services and capabilities for orthopedic and medical device development and manufacturing.
