JACKSON, Tenn. — With many working hard to get their yard in shape, landscapers say to be careful. Early spring gets people excited to start planting, but landscaping centers say to watch out for frost coming in. “Make sure to cover up plants with a cloth the night before a frost, or you can get up at sunrise and spray plants with water to wash the frost off,” Bob Long at Long’s landscaping said. Long says the easiest plants to damage are tomatoes. Even wind can knock them over and snap the plant.
