Exchangite of the Year Honored

WEST JACKSON — The Jackson Exchange Club honored one of its own as the Exchangite of the Year on Tuesday Jessica Williams was recognized for her volunteer spirit and helping to further the club’s service projects, which includes the prevention of child abuse. The wife and mother has been a member of the Jackson Exchange Club for 8 years, during which she’s served as the club’s social chair, photographer, newsletter editor and served as chairman of the Jackson Man of the Year program. Williams says that she is surprised and honored she was chosen for the award. “I just feel like someone else should have gotten that before me,” Williams said. “And I feel like there’s so much more left that I could do to make this club be what it is.” Outside of the club, Williams’ is as a senior placement counselor with Personnel Placements. She is the 62nd Exchangite of the Year.
