34th Annual Trenton Teapot Festival

TRENTON, Tenn.- The rain is no longer causing problems for the Trenton Teapot Festival. Thursday night the streets of downtown Trenton were filled with the sights and sounds of 34th annual festival. One of the highlights from the events was a dog show which was presented by “Friends of Gibson County Animals”. Most of the dogs that participated are rescues. There was also a 5k that kicked off around the same time as the dog show. Organizers said they are happy that everyone can have a great time. “A lot of people just come and see how pretty the town is how quaint it is and how nice it is,” said Mayor Tony Burriss. The events also included a wrestling match. If you missed the festivities Thursday night, there is still time. The festival wraps up on Sunday.
