BREAKING: Man Shot in East Jackson

East Jackson, Tenn. – Gunfire erupts for a second time in just 15 minutes in east Jackson, Thursday evening. Around 10 p.m., Jackson police said a man was found shot on Idlewild Street. Investigators said people were shooting at one another on Cloverdale Street, which is one street south of Idlewild. Officers could not comment on the extent of the victim’s injuries. No arrests have been made. Officers also found several shell casings outside a house on Everett Street, which is one street south of Cloverdale.
