Woman Facing Charges After Alleged Beating

UNION CITY, Tenn. — A woman is facing charges after police say she broke into a woman’s home and beat her. Kimberly Montes, 25, was arrested on Wednesday in Union City at the Eastgate apartments. Montes is accused of entering into a woman’s house uninvited and jumping on her while she was lying on her couch. According to the police report, Montes then hit the woman on her face and neck. The victim says she had been having problems with Montes ever since she told apartment management about things Montes’ son has been doing around the apartment complex. Montes is charged with aggravated burglary and simple assault.
