JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson city leaders are trying to think outside the box for the future of the city and they want your input. The city of Jackson is introducing a new process called “One Jackson”. Monday night city leaders met with local business owners and elected and appointed officials to create a vision for Jackson. City leaders said that it is very important for you to come make your voice heard. “We don’t want this to be our plan, we want it to be the public’s plan. We want them to have ownership of it. So we think their opinion and their visions of what they want to see is important,” said Stan Pilant, director of planning for the city of Jackson. If you missed Monday night’s meeting there will be another one Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Jackson’s City Hall in the George A. Smith Meeting Room.
