Whisnant Case to be Heard by Grand Jury

JACKSON, Tenn.- A jackson man charged with raping a 12-year-old girl will have his case heard by the grand jury. Darryl Whisnant, 41, waived his right to a preliminary hearing, Thursday. He faces one count of child rape. Police said the attack happened last year at his apartment on Berry Street.
