ADAMSVILLE, Tenn. — A Girl Scout from Adamsville now holds the highest honor possible for the organization. Bethany Holloway received the Girl Scout Gold Award. This is the most prestigious award and is equivalent to the honor of an Eagle Award given by the Boy Scouts. Holloway won the award largely for the part of her project on the history of Crump, Tennessee. The award is also a record of achievements, academics, leadership and extracurricular activities in girl scouting.
