Boys and Girls Club Hosts Steak and Burger Dinner

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Boys and Girls Club of Jackson hosted a big crowd for one of its most delicious yearly traditions. The annual Steak and Burger Dinner was hosted at Jackson State Community College Thursday night. Organizers said 229 people attended the dinner. Instead of a speaker, the group hosted a game show, “Are You Smarter than a Boys and Girls Club member?” “I hope the kids will recognize that other people in the community care about them and are willing to show them that we love support and that they could ask questions that they can share and they can model that good citizenship,” Sabrina Anderson of the Boys and Girls Club of Jackson said. This was the 29th year for the event.
