Brownsville Police Department Introduces New K9 Officer

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — The Brownsville Police Department has a new officer, but he’s a bit furrier than the rest of the staff. Troll, a K9 officer, was recently added to the department after graduating from Little Rock K9 Academy with his partner Cpl. Patrick Black. Troll is a two-year-old Belgian Malinois Shepherd imported from Mexico. He is utility trained and has an extensive background in drug detection and tracking. Seized drug money and proceeds from sales of seized property paid in full for Troll and his training. In addition to drug sniffing, Troll will also have additional duties including tracking lost children and the elderly.
