Man Accidentally Shoots Self At Gun Shop

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — A local man is injured after officers say he accidentally shot himself while in a gun shop in Dyersburg. The shooting happened Wednesday at Old South Trading Company in Dyersburg. According to the Dyer County Sherriff’s Office, a man brought a loaded 9mm handgun into the shop to be repaired. When the employee began working on it, deputies say he accidentally shot himself in the hand. He is expected to fully recover.
