Predators sign Alm to entry-level contract

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Johan Alm to a two-year entry-level contract.
The Predators announced the signing Wednesday. Alm is expected to play his first season in North America in 2014-15.
The 22-year-old Alm has four goals and 18 assists in 135 Swedish Hockey League games. Alm, who is 6-foot-2 and 209 pounds, helped the Skelleftea organization win consecutive Swedish League titles in 2013 and 2014.
