Sinkhole closes portion of North Parkway

NORTH JACKSON — A portion of North Parkway is closed until further notice. Tuesday afternoon, a driver notified police after discovering a sinkhole on the right lane of the westbound side of North Parkway. According to the Jackson Street Department, the westbound side will be closed from Rosenblum Drive to Russell Road until further notice. As soon as the pipe is repaired on the west bound lanes, the east bound lanes of North Parkway will close for repairs.
