Aladdin at The Dixie FREE SHOW
FREE Community Event this Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 7pm. You are invited to a production of “Aladdin” performed by our students of the Dixie Youth Theatre Summer Camp. These students range from 5th to 9th grade and have been hard at work this week getting ready for the production. So bring your family and friends and your little ones too for this FREE production at The Dixie on Saturday! More about the show: Aladdin presents the classic story of one young man‘s quest to win the hand of his beautiful Princess. Through his daring and clever deeds, Aladdin defeats evil and brings goodness and peace to his kingdom Teaching our workshop this year, we have two Henderson County teachers. Anita Fesmire is an educator with over thirty years of various experiences in theater production. Shelly Russell is an alumni of the Tennessee Arts Academy. Together they sponsor their school‘s Performing Arts Club. Fesmire and Russell have produced and directed such classics as Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz.
