Tractor Trailer overturns on Interstate 40, slows traffic

WEST MADISON COUNTY — A truck ran off the road and flipped, causing a traffic jam on Interstate 40, Thursday afternoon. Troopers got the call just after 1 p.m. Investigators say the driver was headed west near mile marker 68 when it crashed. It’s unclear the extent of any injuries, or a possible cause. Troopers say the truck will not be removed from the side of the roadway until Wednesday.
