McNairy County man indicted on solicitation of a minor charges

MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. – A McNairy County man accused of trying to solicit who he thought was a teenage girl online turned himself in on Tuesday. After a lengthy TBI investigation, Joe Kevin Horner, 50, was indicted on Monday and charged with two counts of Solicitation of a Minor and one count of Horner’s investigation began in October 2013 after a detective in Virginia who was posing as a 14-year-old girl online alerted agents of the ongoing sexual conversations. Agents seized Horner‘s iPhone and found messages sent between Horner and the detective posing as the girl, along with an explicit picture believed to be of Horner. Horner is being held on a $20,000 bond.
