TBI Agent assigned to investigate sex tape featuring former sheriff

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A TBI agent has been assigned to investigate the sex tape involving former Madison County sheriff David Woolfork and his one-time mistress Sharon Sangster. According to a TBI spokesperson, assistant special agent in charge Russ Winkler out of Middle Tennessee will lead the investigation. The Jackson Police Department and District Attorney’s office requested the TBI take over. In court, Sangster admitted to videotaping them on two occasions. Woolfork wants her and Madison County Constable Frankie Lax prosecuted. Lax has admitted to making copies and showing them to others. The TBI would not comment on when their investigation will begin or how long it might last.
