Another sinkhole to be repaired in Jackson

EAST JACKSON — On the same day one sinkhole is repaired, the city of Jackson is closing another street for the same reason. Jackson’s Stormwater operations department notified Jackson’s engineering department that both lanes of East Lafayette from Hamilton Street to Day Street will be temporarily closed until further notice. The road closure is to repair pipe under each side of the road.
