Jackson Police: Be Wary of Scam

JACKSON, Tenn.- There are reports of as scam in the area and the Jackson Police Department has a warning for you. Calls are being made from people claiming to be with the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes. They tell people they won a large sum of money, and are sending a limousine to pick up the winner. The victim is then instructed to buy prepaid credit cards to pay for the processing fee. If you have information call Crimestoppers at (731) 424-TIPS (8477) .
