Shot fired in East Jackson, police investigating

JACKSON, Tenn.-Jackson police are investigating as gunfire erupts less than an hour ago in east Jackson. Police are working right now in the 90-block of Booker Street. Just after 9 p.m., reports started coming in of shots fired in the area. Officers arrived to find a car that had been shot into and several shell casings on the ground. Police said no one was at home at the time and no one was injured. But less than 30 minutes later a person with gunshot wounds showed up at a Jackson hospital.
