Woman tackled for her purse in West Jackson parking lot

WEST JACKSON — A Jackson woman is tackled to the ground for her purse, and police are asking for your help to find the suspect. Officers say around 1 a.m. on Friday, a woman was tackled in a parking lot on Old Hickory Blvd. by a man demanding money. Police say they are looking for a man possibly in his late 20s, with ear -length dreadlocks. The suspect described him as likely being around 6 foot 3 inches and 160 pounds.
