HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn.-The man accused kidnapping a teenage girl in Fayette County was charged with burglary Tuesday morning in Henderson county. Ma’quarious Cathey remains jailed in the Henderson County jail in lieu of $250,000 bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Tuesday. According to the TBI, Cathey will soon be transferred to Fayette County where he faces much more serious charges. He is accused of kidnapping the 16-year-old at knife-point in the parking lot of the Walmart in Oakland early Monday morning then leading officers on a multi-county chase.
