City signs shot up near park

UNION CITY, Tenn. – According to police in Union City, three signs near Graham Park have been shot up. An officer on patrol, Sunday, spotted bullet holes in three road signs. According to a police report, the speed limit sign on the west side of the park had seven bullet holes in it. A one way sign on the south end of the park was shot once. And, the speed limit sign on the southeast side of the park also had one bullet hole. The reporting officers said the speed limit sign with the seven shots was directly in line with Parkview Apartments. No injuries were reported. Officers said they were unable to find any casings. When caught, the suspect or suspects will face vandalism charges.
