Investigators say some of the 39 guns in Dresden man’s home are stolen

DRESDEN, Tenn. — A West Tennessee man is facing seven counts of theft after investigators discover 39 guns kept for “safe keeping” at his home. Investigators arrested John Thomas Flora, 52, on June 27 after they went to his house to question him about the guns in his home. Flora told investigators he could not remember from whom he got the 39 guns, but investigators determined at least 7 of them were stolen from houses or cars near Martin. Flora was released on $1,000 bond. He will be back in court for his preliminary hearing on July 2 at 8:30 a.m. The case is still under investigation.
