Case of pair accused of home invasion sent to grand jury

MARTIN, Tenn. — The case of two men accused of a home invasion in Weakley County is headed to the grand jury. Cordarion Thompson and Marcus Bardwell appeared in court Wednesday morning for their preliminary hearings in connection to a home invasion and robbery on Moody Street in Martin. Investigators say they took more than $500 in electronics and hit the victim several times in the head with a rifle. Thompson and Bardwell are facing aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary charges. Both are being held at Weakley County Detention Center with no bond. Two juveniles were also arrested in connection to the case. They are being held at the Weakley County Juvenile Detention Center. Their next court date has still not been set.
